Hi Steve, I was wondering if you can dive into the psychology of loneliness. It seems that ever since Covid, we have been having a crisis of loneliness. Would love to get your insights and summary around loneliness and conversely, perhaps what social connections do for us.
Hi Karmin, hope you're well. Loneliness isn't something I know a huge amount about, or that I'm hugely interested in at this point. But I'll make a note of it as a possible topic, and see if I can come up with an angle on it that would mesh with my interests - e.g., the evolutionary function of the emotion of loneliness, sex differences in loneliness, etc. Thanks for the suggestion!
